Kabush Transitions to Cyclocross at Cross Vegas

SCOTT Athlete will contest select CX races with the SCOTT-3Rox Racing Team.

September 19, 2012

SCOTT-3Rox racer Geoff Kabush had an amazing MTB season finishing top North American at both the Olympics (8th place) and the World Championships (18th place). Kabush will now shift his focus in the off season on select Cyclocross races to include the World Championships in Louisville, the Canadian National Championships and the US GP of CX in Bend, Ore.

"I'm hoping for good legs tonight at Cross Vegas," said Kabush. "In the past I've been able to 'Tail Gun' the race and finish strong but really the event is about dialing in my new SCOTT Addict CX and get prepared for the season ahead while connecting with all my sponsors at Interbike. I leave Friday to race the Trans-Provence on my new Genius 700 with 27.5" wheels and I'm excited to put that thing to the test."

Adrian Montgomery remarked, "When we signed Geoff to SCOTT we were stoked to have the top North American rider in the XC discipline but we're also happy to have someone who could represent us in the cyclocross scene. We've identified, like many others, that CX is one of the fastest growing cycle-sports in the US and I'm very proud to have the SCOTT-3Rox Racing Team in the mix this year."
