Tacoma Twilight Criterium 2012 in North End's Proctor District
June 18, 2012
Tacoma, Wash. - Now in its 3rd year, the Tacoma Twilight Criterium bicycle race heads to the North End's Proctor District for an evening of fast-paced, corner taking, nail biting bike racing. Bring your lawn chairs, bring your cowbells and be ready to be entertained.
Criterium racing is on a closed circuit course so makes for some exciting viewing as the racers vie for position. Choose your favorite rider and cheer them on! There's a free Kids' Race and an Art Bike parade for the general public. The pace heats up as we head into the evening finishing with the fastest riders at 8:15 p.m. Racers should register in advance through USA Cycling.
