Suncadia’s Multisport Summer Festival Returns Bigger and Better

From July 29 to July 31, Suncadia, by Destination Hotels & Resorts, celebrates the second annual outdoor tradition of the Multisport Summer Festival. The weekend brings opportunities for all ages to bike, walk and run in a variety of races, from a 5k to a full marathon, all in the majestic setting of the Cascade Mountains. Hosted and organized by Energy Events, this festival is becoming a “must-do” for serious runners and cyclists as well as more casual family groups. Famous runner and cyclist Bart Yasso will be waiting at the finish line to announce participants as they cross. Those looking to simply cheer the racers on can enjoy the Summer Brewfest, Active Expo and live country music at Nelson Farm, all open to the public all three days.

Friday, July 29

o Summer Brewfest & Active Expo at Nelson Dairy Farm from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

o Suncadia Cycle Tour (25 Miles) at 1 p.m.

o Kids Duathalon at 3 p.m.

o Live Country Music at Nelson Dairy Farm from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, July 30

o Full Marathon Course at 7:30 a.m.

o Half Marathon at 8 a.m.

o Long Course Triathlon at 8 a.m.

o Long Course Duathlon at 8:10 a.m.

o Active Expo from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

o Summer Brewfest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

o Live Country Music at Nelson Dairy Farm from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday, July 31

o Spring Duathlon at 9 a.m.

o Bart Yasso 5k at 9 a.m.

o 15k Trail Run at 9:05 a.m.

o Kids 1 Mile at 11 a.m.

o Summer Brewfest from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

o Active Expo from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Starting at Suncadia’s picturesque Nelson Farm run or bike route go through scenic sites, such as the historic coal mining towns of Roslyn and Ronald, near Cle Elum Lake and through Speelyi Beach Park.
