January 8, 2015
Boulder, Colo — The Colorado based rack company RockyMounts, Inc. made a generous commitment to support the Colorado High School Cycling League (Colorado League). RockyMounts will be the Official Rack Sponsor of the Colorado League through 2016.
“We continually look for ways to get involved in our local cycling community. The Colorado League’s energy and commitment to establishing a fun and welcoming environment provides an amazing format to get more kids riding and racing. It’s been awesome to see the significant increase in high school mountain bikers.” said Bruno Maier, President of RockyMounts. “We are really stoked to be part of growing the sport we love.”
The Colorado League has experienced incredible growth since the first race season in 2010. With more than 700 student-athletes in 2014, The League is gearing up for even more growth in 2015 and the addition of a fifth race to the calendar.
“RockyMounts makes world class racks, and they back up their product with exceptional customer service. They are a staple in our outdoor community. It’s truly special to have their support,” said Kate Rau, Executive Director of the Colorado League. “They are more than a financial sponsor, they make sure we have the equipment we need to transport bikes, providing reliable and efficient methods to carry gear to races.”
Whether it is a fundraiser hosted at the RockyMounts showroom, leading efforts to create Valmont Bike Park, or supporting local teams, events, and programs, Bobby Noyes and the RockyMounts crew are known for their community involvement. The company’s 2-year commitment establishes a solid foundation to help the Colorado League grow.
The mission of the Colorado High School Cycling League - to foster the development of strong minds, bodies, and characters in an inclusive and equal setting for student-athletes and families - is a great match for businesses with a desire to invest in the local community.
As the Colorado League expands to create more opportunity for development all over Colorado and southern Wyoming, with more students signing on everyday, it is vital to form strong partnerships in support of this growth.
