Norco Bicycles Partners with M1 Sports Management to Create Canadian UCI Continental Road Team

Vancouver, B.C. - Canada's Norco Bicycles is honoured to be the official bicycle frame sponsor for an all-new Canadian UCI-Continental road race team: H&R Block Pro Cycling. The team is lead by M1 Sports Management, the group overseeing the M1 Pro Cycling Project, and is supported by title sponsor H&R Block Canada.

The M1 Pro Cycling Project is endorsed by Cycling Canada and led by a strong and experienced advisory board consisting of business leaders and cycling advocates from across Canada. M1 Pro Cycling Project, CEO Mark Ernsting brings a strong sports and business leadership background to the table. Ernsting is well positioned to bring together business and community to create a rich and nurturing environment that will grow the strength and influence of cycling in Canada.

The new team will consist of an elite roster of athletes, many of whom are former podium finishers in Canadian Provincial and National Championships. They will be piloting Norco Bicycles' Tactic race frame and team-specific time trial frame on the 2015 North American race circuit. H&R Block Pro Cycling will compete in several premiere UCI and NRC North American events and will be bidding for a spot at the Tour of Alberta.

"Our primary goal for 2015 is to establish a UCI Continental team and to build awareness of Canadian cycling, both at home and abroad," notes Ernsting.
