USA Pro Challenge: Tom Danielson Claims Stage 3
August 22, 2012 In an epic day of racing, Stage 3 of the 2012 USA Pro Challenge came to a close with Colorado-resident Tom Danielson Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda taking a solo breakaway to the finish line in Aspen. With the peloton following close behind, Damiano Caruso Liquigas-Cannondale claimed second in the stage and Jakob Fuglsang RadioShack-Nissan-Trek took third on a course packed with cheering fans. And in a very close fight for the GC, Danielson’s Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda teammate Christian Vande Velde claimed the Exergy Leader Jersey. Read More

USA Pro Challenge: Tejay van Garderen Claims Stage 2 and the Overall Lead
August 21, 2012 Crested Butte, Colo. (Aug. 21, 2012) – Stage 2 of the 2012 USA Pro Challenge featured a challenging ride under blue skies and saw an unexpected finish, with Tejay Van Garderen (USA) of BMC Racing Team pulling through to take the stage win and the overall lead. Following close behind were Christian Vande Velde (USA) of Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda in second and Ivan Rovny (RUS) of RusVelo in third. Tschopp Secures Overall Win at 2012 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah
August 13, 2012 Park City, Utah (August 12, 2012) – American Levi Leipheimer of Omega Pharma-QuickStep out-climbed the field on the final day of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah to win Stage Six presented by UnitedHealthcare in three hours, six minutes and 54 seconds. And with a fourth place finish on today’s 76.7-mile (123.5-kilometer) stage in Park City, Swiss rider Johann Tschopp of BMC Racing Team, secured the overall General Classification victory at the 2012 Larry H. August 13, 2012 Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, Utah (August 11, 2012) – A solo attack up Little Cottonwood Canyon launched BMC Racing Team's Johann Tschopp of Switzerland to victory today at Stage Five presented by Exergy Development Group of the 2012 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. By hitting the finish line in four hours, 18 minutes and 20 seconds on the Queen Stage, the Swiss rider leaped from 14th on general classification to the overall race lead. Rabobank's Matthews Wins Bunch Sprint at Stage 3 of 2012 Tour of Utah
August 10, 2012 Salt Lake City, Utah (Aug. 9, 2012) - Rabobank’s Michael Matthews of Australia spent almost 65 miles in a breakaway and still had enough left to pull away from the field and win Stage Three presented by University of Utah Health Care at the 2012 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. Matthews finished the 85.5-mile (137.6-kilometer) road race from Ogden to Salt Lake City in 3 hours, 24 minutes, 7 seconds. Jesse Anthony Wins Most Agressive Rider In Stage One of Tour of Utah
August 8, 2012 The 2012 Tour of Utah kicked off today in similar fashion to the 2011 version - sweltering heat, sunshine and a tough, mountainous 132-mile circuit centered around the town of Odgen. The similarities did not end there - Jesse Anthony, aiming to repeat his miraculous, stage-winning solo effort on the 2011 version of the Ogden circuit, donned the Most Aggressive Rider jersey after separating himself from the peloton and bridging across to a breakaway of five riders nearly five minutes up the road in a bold attempt to change the outcome of the race. World’s Top Professional Cyclists Confirmed for 2012 USA Pro Challenge

Australian Sutherland Kicks Off 2012 Tour of Utah with Stage One Victory

August 2, 2012 Salt Lake City, Utah – Fresh from the Champs-Élysées in Paris and Box Hill in London, a number of noted professional cyclists eye the Wasatch Front to compete in the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. Race organizers confirmed team rosters today, which include three members of the Team USA road cycling team – Tim Duggan (Liquigas-Cannondale), Tyler Farrar (Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda), and Chris Horner (RadioShack-Nissan-Trek). Other top American riders confirmed are defending two-time Tour of Utah champion Levi Leipheimer (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) and seven-time-national-time-trial champion Dave Zabriskie (Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda). 2012 TransRockies Challenge - Stage 2
July 30, 2012 Day two at the 2012 TransRockies Challenge was a carbon copy of the first with never ending blue skies and warm temperatures. Riders were keen for a mass start and ready to traverse the 30km and 1700 meters of climbing from downtown Fernie to Fernie Alpine Resort. The course designers worked hard to create a stage that challenged the riders with climbs and rewarded them with spectacular descents. The feedback at the finish line seemed to indicate that the TransRockies Crew was successful in their quest. As one racer put it, "Yesterday I worked as hard on the down hills as the up hills. Today I could just relax and enjoy the ride down." Read More
