Bicycle Paper started 44 years ago as a free print tabloid covering the Pacific Northwest’s cycling scene. First run under the title, The Great Bicycle Conspiracy, the newsprint publication changed its name the following year to The Bicycle Paper. Printed monthly from March to September, it has grown over the last 13 years, adding three specialty guides to the lineup: the Northwest Race Guide, Northwest Tour Guide and Rocky Mountain Tour and Race Guide. Extremely popular, these event calendar-based additions have been established as an indispensable source of information for the road, mountain bike, cyclocross, track, and multi-sport community.
To this day, Bicycle Paper remains true to its roots by featuring in-depth articles and columns that cover a wide range of topics including touring and racing in the Northwest, interesting people and places to ride, advocacy, commuting, opinion pieces, health columns, product reviews and more. Integral to the publication is the most comprehensive event calendar found anywhere in the region. Distributed to more than 600 newsstands, Bicycle Paper reaches readers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. Expanding the scope outside of those areas, our website features all the same content found in print, as well as daily news updates and alerts.
